Sarajevo5D for the first time implements Augmented Reality technology in the tourist offer of Sarajevo. Six cultural and historical monuments were selected, originating in different periods, from the Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, to the socialist period, which no longer exist in reality. Other facilities have been built in their places and visitors have no opportunity to see them and learn about their importance in real life.

The Sarajevo5D app for mobile phones will allow a virtual visit to these facilities. The app user will engage in 3D presentations with multimedia information on the screen of their mobile device. Object models will appear via a physical map, which can be obtained from Visit Sarajevo info offices, or dowloaded from the Sarajevo5D.ba website and reward all visitors with additional digital content.
